Spelmann’s first product launch assignment was for Dyson in 1997, he was asked to simply perform his signature Close Up Magic act during the champagne reception for the trade press at The Sanctuary in Covent Garden before the unveiling and presentation of the new Dyson range.

In contrast, for The Serious Food Company Spelmann was integral with the design and presentation of the launch. For Jaguar Spelmann performed a condensed version of his Stage Show before producing the new Jaguar to the waiting VIP guests to thunderous applause. His most unusual presentation was for components used within commercial boilers, a challenge yes, but none the less a well received presentation that took something which could be seen as uninteresting and made it a fun, fascinating presentation featuring the unique talents and charismatic skills of Spelmann.
